In early 2008 two people set out to raise money for a local charity, they had an idea for a golf event. The idea was to sell entries to the competition, sell raffle prizes and find willing companies or organisations to donate prizes or auction items for the event.

In each case there was a resistance against either companies or individuals shelling out money for our chosen charity.

It soon became apparent that although these corporate customers were happy giving cash incentives, i.e. discounts off their products to incentivise sales growth and were willing to buy information i.e. e-mail addresses to market to the consumer, they were reluctant to give money to charitable causes directly as they could not see the direct effect to their bottom line immediately.

We have come up with a solution that solves these issues.
